Handcrafted interior design

Most of the furniture in our spaces was handmade by Colombian designers and artisans, inspired by and alluding to the Raizal culture of the island of San Andrés.

Efficient lighting

At Nattivo Collection Hotel, we use LED lighting, which is more energy-efficient and contributes to reducing electricity consumption on the island.

Water conservation

We use a special system called PTAG (Greywater Treatment Plant) to safely collect, treat, and reuse water.

Drinking water

We have a system called PTAP (Potable Water Treatment Plant) that collects water from a rainwater tank and processes it to make it safe for consumption. This water is stored in another tank before being supplied throughout the hotel.

Water storage

We have two main water reservoirs. One of them collects rainwater, public supply water, water from tanker trucks, and processed water from our treatment plant. This one has a system that verifies water quality in order to guarantee its consumption safety.

The second reservoir stores potable water that has been processed in our treatment plant, which is used throughout the building, including kitchens, sinks, showers, basins, and bathrooms.

Hot water

To heat the water, we use a heat recovery system. The water circulates through heat accumulators located in the air conditioning units on the first floor. These units heat and store the water in two storage tanks to ensure its availability and proper temperature. We also have two boilers as a backup for the accumulators or the air conditioning systems.

The planters we use to hold the plants on one of our facades are made from recycled plastic and discarded plastic.
